"Volunteers"

I was just watching the news this morning. It looks like a lot of the municipal governments are looking for volunteers to go to the various schools in the area in order to shovel out the driveways and parking lots. They want to make sure that the school busses can get the children to the schools, and that the staff have places to park their cars. There are a couple of ways they could do this: First of all, aren't all students today required to "volunteer" for some type of community service in order to graduate from high school? Shovelling snow should count as community service. I guess you could ask a Boy Scout troop to do it, but then NAMBLA and the ACLU, along with SEIU and the other public employee union thugs would be pitching a fit. Look at the fit they threw when they went after a retired man who volunteered his time to be a crossing guard in order to help keep school kids safe while they were waiting at a bus stop.

I have a better idea. How about going into the city and rounding up all the able bodied welfare recipients that are sitting home smoking crack or hanging out in the park drinking cheap wine and being the lazy bums that they are. Make them earn their entitlement for a change. While we are at it, how about sticking shovels in the hands of the left wing activists that use the homeless and the welfare bums as tools to advance their Marxist agenda. It would serve them right.

More Feel Good Boycotts

The other night a friend of mine informed me, after spending the day hanging out with a left wing lawyer friend of hers, that she was no longer going to eat shrimp. The reason being that shrimp fishing is really bad for the environment. They throw parts of the shrimp back into the ocean, and that's polution. I guess no thought was given to the fact that those body parts are going to end up as food for other ocean creatures. Unenlightened lil' ol' me was unaware that most ocean dwelling creatures were vegans. I didn't know that sharks ate tofu. Gee, I must be one of the uneducated masses that needs to be controlled for the "common good."

This is just another example of the typical holier than thou attitute of the highly educated liberal elite that want to control our lives. Well guess what? I'm now going to go out of my way to eat MORE shrimp just out of principle. Why? Because I can. I'm really starting to become contemptuous of sanctimonious, holier-than-thou left wing types. Mainly, because the vast majority of them are hypocrites. Bobos In Paradise.

I'm one of the "little people" that is finally getting fed up with the new meritcratic upper middle class phonies that have self-anointed themselves to be our rulers. There are others like me out there too. We are going to resist their every move to control us. The other thing we need to do is expose them for what they really are, and this time there can be no benefit of the doubt. Marx claimed that the proletariat would rise up against the Capitalist ruling class. What he didn't count on was the proletariat would embrace Capitalism and use it, along with hard work, to get themselves their own little piece of the pie. The educated class gradually embraced Marxism over the years, and started to embrace it in earnest starting in the 1960s. They figured that they would become the ruling class, just like the government hacks in the old Soviet Union. What they didn't count on was the proletariat rising up against them. Scott Brown is the tip of the iceberg. Now, I think I'm going to start up my gas guzzler Dodge Ram 1500 and head on down to the super market and buy myself a nice big bag of shrimp.

Woodstock, The Shot Across The Bow of America

This past weekend was the fortieth anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair that took place on Max Yasgur’s farm in upstate New York in 1969. I find it amusing that Yasgur was a conservative republican who agreed to allow hippies to destroy his farm, but I guess he was paid enough money for the use of his land to make it worthwhile. I hope he made his money up front, because the promoters lost their shirts when the everything is about them spoiled brats, who showed up without tickets and had not intention of paying for admission tickets, knocked down the fences and declared it a "free" concert. I have always had mixed feelings about Woodstock. I was lured by the whole celebration of the primalism that it was, because I had received my proper dosage of liberal brainwashing in the public schools. However, I did have a few conservative teachers. There were still a few of them left when I was in school. They hadn’t been purged from the system yet.

I always thought the music was great. This was the music of my generation, both liberal and conservative. The bands that played there were rock music’s royalty. However, as I look back at it, I can see that it was the celebration of the left fork in the road of the two divisions of the Baby Boomer generation; there were those who came from a life of spoiled privilege and there were those that didn’t. Those that didn’t made up the right fork in the road, and the divide has been getting further and further apart as the years have progressed. Being part of that interim generation of the Baby Boomers that some demographers refer to as Generation Jones, I was too young to attend. I was only fourteen at the time, and there is no way that my World War II generation parents were going to allow me to attend an event of that kind anyway. My dad was a public school history teacher. Unlike most of the teachers today, and quite a few teachers at that time, the only liberal leanings he had were in regards to the New Deal. He thought the world of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Until he died, he remained a true patriotic American, who had no use for anti-Americanism.

His dad had been a builder, and had quite a bit of money until the Great Depression hit and he lost all of his business. From that point on they struggled financially just to survive. My mother grew up relatively poor in an Italian immigrant family with thirteen children who all ended up in some sort of blue-collar job, as they grew older. Not one of them went to college. They all struggled growing up. My dad served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific during World War II, and he consequently had absolutely no respect for the anti-war crowd. All he saw were spoiled brats who were in dire need of a good beating. My mother’s brothers also all served in the military during the Second World War. The value of self-sacrifice that my parents grew up with, was part of my upbringing. We did without if we didn’t really need it. Luxuries were few and far between. As a schoolteacher he didn’t make a huge salary anyway. We were what would be considered to be lower middle class. We were the next rung up the food chain ladder from the working class. However, the working class and the lower middle class shared a lot in common, despite education and some minor value differences. We lived in the same neighborhoods, and we went to school together. One thing that was definitely shared in common was that many of the sons received a certified letter that required a proof of delivery signature that when opened began as follows: "Greetings." And guess what? They went to Viet Nam. You don’t hear much about these folks. Those that came back, which were all but 58,000 of them, got on with their lives. For the most part, they embarked on careers that pretty much made up the bulk of the working and lower middle classes, which is where they came from in the first place. However, first of all they had to endure getting spit upon, have feces thrown at them, and be called "baby killers" when they returned by the other fork in the road, the Woodstock Generation.

Let’s look at the demographics of that left fork in the road, the hippies and their ilk. Most of them grew up in a life of privilege. Few of them grew up working class or lower middle class. Many came from inherited wealth, but most of them were children of upper middle class professionals and left wing educators. They were spoiled. If they were the children of liberals and leftists in the education establishment, they were either open or closet Marxists. Everything was back then, and now that they are the establishment, about them. They despised back then, and still despise the working class and lower middle class whites. The hippies are now in charge of our government, legal profession, education system, and lurking in many of the policy-making positions of Corporate America and the Pentagon. This almost wasn’t the case.

In 1968 various radical student groups and racial groups, now revealed by the Venona Project to have been financed by the KGB in Moscow with millions of dollars smuggled in from Canada, became violent. These were cogs in the ongoing cultural war to destroy the United States from within. To this day, this "cold civil war" continues.

Members of these groups seized control of Columbia University in New York City. There were other riots at other colleges and universities that followed, but they probably wouldn’t have happened if the Columbia riots had been handled differently. Originally, the faculty of Columbia wanted the authorities to take back control of the campus by "any means necessary," but they backed down in their request at the last minute. Back then there were still quite a few college faculty members that were conservatives, but they were ultimately afraid of the political and social consequences of regaining control of the campus with force. This emboldened the Left, the Marxist Leninist funded by Moscow left mind you, to begin the acceleration of their assault on the American way of life. Let’s hear it again for the Woodstock Generation. Nelson Rockefeller was the governor of New York at the time, and had the faculty requested "assistance," he would have sent in the National Guard to storm the campus, and restore order using "any means necessary." The university president's decision not to request National Guard assistance was a huge mistake.

The Silent Majority, my father being one of them, would have stood up and cheered as the spoiled brats brandishing Chairman Mao’s Little Red Book were taken down. I remember seeing him smiling and hearing him say, "good, it’s about time," while he was watching the Chicago Police gave the anti-war protestors a good thrashing during the 1968 Democratic Convention riots. Even though he never said anything about it, I think that he silently cheered when the National Guard shot those four students during the Kent State riots too. As for me, now that I look back at that incident from the perspective of someone who is older, wiser, conservative, and a veteran, it shouldn't have happened. What should have happened was this: Since the protesters had burned down the ROTC building at Kent State, that should have been declared either an act of war by a domestic enemy within, or it should have been considered an act of sabotage against the government. The National Guard should have made it 400 or 4000 instead of 4, and the ring leaders should have been arrested, tried by military tribunal for sabotage and treason, and executed.

This error of cowardice on the part of the Columbia faculty was the turning point that set the stage for the Communist take over of our government that is attempting to come to fruition with the 2008 election. Woodstock in 1969 was the Left’s smug, arrogant, celebration of the beginning of the end of the despised values and prosperity of Middle Class America. With the final push happening today to force a socialist dictatorship on the American people, run of course, by the spoiled rotten leftists from the Woodstock Generation, I have a feeling that my dad is spinning in his grave.

We Are In For "Interesting Times."

Why do highly educated urban professional types call for more regulation of our financial and manufacturing industries as well as every other aspect of our lives? Because they know that they will get to be the ones that write and enforce the regulations for their
benefit while the rest of us get to pay for it. They have a very arrogant and elitist view of the world...a world in which they are global citizens, and the world's ruling class. In their eyes, they are God.

There is a big picture here. The big picture is that it's a cultural thing that has been ongoing for several generations. The late Paul Weyrich summed it up when he wrote that conservatives won the political war, but liberals won the cultural war and that culture trumps politics. I would like to add that once culture trumps politics, culture will then
define and control politics. This last election is proof of that. I would also like to add that I believe that those that won the cultural war, allowed conservatives to win the political war, so that there would be a false sense of security while the real agenda was being pushed behind the scene. We are now in the final stages of the master plan of the Fabians,
the Wobblies, and the Cultural Marxists of the Frankfurt School. They have managed over a one hundred year period to subvert and change American culture to a culture of envy, control, and entitlement managed by laissez faire meritocratic, super educated, Narcissistic elites; New York Times editorialist David Brooks wrote a book about them called Bobos In Paradise. Bobos are what are known as Bourgeois Bohemians. They have managed to fuse 1980s Yuppie Capitalism with the 1960s Counter Culture, and become at the least, very comfortable financially, while they alleviate their guilt by believing in and supporting the "right" causes. Consequently, they get to have it all at the rest of our expense. They are now about to change America for their benefit and the "little people" are going to pay for it. Welcome to a dictatorship of the intellectual
classes. As Marie Antionette supposedly said, "Let them eat cake."

Do you like your house? Do you like where you live? How are liberal elites changing that? Let's start with "Sustainable Development. How dare the average middle class person without a college degree think they are entitled to own a home, especially a single family home in the suburbs. Let's change things by passing zoning ordinances that require that all new homes be built on at least an acre or more of land in order to prevent urban sprawl. That's why you have McMansions. When was the last time you saw a developer building a nice 1200 square foot home on a half or quarter acre like they did during the 1950s? During that time middle class America migrated from the cities to the suburbs, so that they could own a home with a yard, and the housing industry accommodated them. It was the post World War II era of comfortable prosperity personified by the calm stewardship of the Eisenhower Administration. The idea here
is for the liberal elites to undo, or deconstruct if you will, the ingrained middle class culture of the 1950s. Only high dollar urbanist liberal professional types are to own property. The rest of us need to be forced into human habitat areas that will consist of middle class housing projects with very little places to park. The committee will decide how much living space you need, and you will be assigned housing accordingly. Of course the projects will be right next to public transportation. Driving is only for me not thee. Can't you see the Prius parked in the driveway of my McMansion (the SUV is "hidden" in the garage)? I'm important so I get to drive. You aren't so you don't. That way I won't have to worry about traffic jams either. You can shut up and take the bus

Speaking of cars, don't you know what we need are more high priced hybrids so that the average person can not afford a car? Not only that, you are a tradesman who needs a van? Fill out this application and explain why you need something besides a roller skate with a lawn mower engine. If the committee approves your request, you will be able
to get your truck. If not, get a job doing something else. The committee
will arrange for retraining in exchange for another chunk of your soul .

Speaking of jobs, you want to do what for a living? Have society’s managers approved? The committee knows what society needs for workers, and will "guide" you into a job that is what is best for society as a whole, and the hell with what you want. You will
shut up and do as you are told. The elites are now in charge. They are smarter, better educated, and your rulers. Get used to it. This can be done the easy way or the hard way. It's up to you. It's hard to believe that you still have an independent streak after 12 years of public school indoctrination and for some, advanced indoctrination into the collective
mindset facilitated by the higher education "industry."

Of course, this is going to affect your lifestyle. The elitist left thinks that wealth is a zero sum game. If you make a buck, someone else loses a buck. They cry their phony crocodile tears about how awful it is that the poor are poor and deprived, because of Capitalism. For some odd reason they have no problem with Capitalism when it advances
Socialism for their benefit. The gameplan is, they make a buck and we lose a buck. All animals are created equal, but some are created more equal than others. We are about to find out just how much more equal the elites who now control our politics, culture, education, legal profession, and media are. The average American is in for a very rude awakening begining on January 20, 2008

The Election Aftermath

I’m sure there are some people that are licking their wounds after the defeat of John McCain and the victory of Barak Obama in the presidential election. In any contest there is a winner and there is a loser. That’s the way things are. So be it. I did think however, that the electoral vote count was going to be a lot closer. As of today, the electoral vote tally is 349 electors for Obama and 173 electors for McCain. That is a significant margin. What the American people have done here is sent a very strong message to the Republican Party: "No more George Bushes!" I can’t agree more. While I voted for Bush twice, because I felt that he was the lesser of the evils, I didn’t like George Bush. I don’t think that he was an effective president. Many people saw it the same way. It was George Bush that cost the Republicans this election, and Bush knows it. You can see it on his face when he’s been addressing the American people after the election. There is another message that is being sent, and I’m skeptical at best. I see it on some sites, and hear it from the young educated white-collar professionals and semi-professionals that make up a large portion of the upper income bracket of our service economy. They have a collectivist world citizen view rather than an individualist American citizen view and they are elated at having Obama as president. In their opinion, he will make us become citizens of the world who just happen to live in the United States. America is just another cog in the machine. We are the world as the song goes. This is a very strong move toward the one world government that the liberal elites have been plotting for years. This is a consolidation of power into their hands. It’s going to be an interesting ride.

In this election, I voted for McCain. His worldview is more inline with my worldview. I do want to take this time right now, however, to say that I offer my heartiest congratulations to President-elect Barak Obama. I hope for this country’s sake, he has a successful presidency. We need that. Barak Obama is a clean slate as a president right now, and I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Most conservatives that I know are saying the same thing. However, we will be watching and waiting in the wings for the time when it’s our turn again.

I consider myself to be a citizen of the greatest country in the world, The United States of America. I served this great country as a member of the Armed Forces for 26 years. I am not a citizen of the world educated elite. It offends me that I should have to share citizenship with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Kim Jong Il. I’m a member of the average white person class that the educated elite holds in contempt and want to control for the "common good." My ideology lies with the "hayseeds" in "fly over country," not with the latte sipping, NPR listening, arrogant elites that now have the mandate to remold society into their world view. With the White House going Democrat, and with Democratic control of both houses of Congress, it’s now the Democrats game to lose. If the economy goes down the toilet in a year, they won’t have anyone to blame but themselves, and the midterm elections in 2010 are only two years away.

Ok, so why does this average non-elite, need to be controlled for my own good, contemptuous white male vote Republican? I am retired military, and having spent 26 years serving this country in the Air Force, I’ve lived through two Democratic and three Republican administrations while I was on active duty. The military always fares better under a Republican administration than it does under a Democrat administration, and people vote for what is in their best interests.

I’m not sure what an Obama Administration will do to the military. No one knows, except for Barak Obama. Based on history, I have a feeling that the active duty force will find themselves getting insufficient pay raises each year, and retirees will find that their pensions will not increase in order to keep up with the cost of living. This is always the case with Democratic administrations. With a Democratic controlled Congress, it would appear to be a gimme. They prefer to spend the money on domestic programs for drug addicted welfare queens and their hordes of illegitimate children, rather than spending money on the good men and women who volunteer to put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

The job of President of the United States is also two jobs. It’s also Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. How Barak Obama will perform as Commander in Chief is also an unknown. One thing for sure is a large percentage of President-elect Obama’s constituencies are anti-war, anti-military types. This is where things are going to get very interesting, and this old sarge is smiling at this possibility. From a revenge point of view, there may be a silver lining in this dark cloud. I am now going to give you one example of my "Audacity of Hope."

Barak Obama has said that he wants s a civilian security force that will equal the US Military. What this really means is anyone’s guess, but I’m more than a little bit skeptical. Woodrow Wilson’s goon squads come to mind. He also wants mandatory service of some kind for everyone between the ages of 18 and 27. This is going to get real interesting.

Ok hippies listen up. You are about to get what you paid for when you bought the "Audacity of Hope" at the ballot box. First of all, whether you like it or not, the world is not a very safe place. There is no such thing as Utopia. Get your Granola fueled heads out of your asses. You are all going to be lining up to get into some sort of peacenik service program like the Peace Corps or some other sundry organization so that you can do pacifist service and meet your mandatory obligation without picking up a rifle. There are only going to be so many slots in those kind of groups. If you are not connected to the right people, you are not going to get in those programs. Therefore, you will either be joining the military, or Obama’s domestic security force. Either way, you are in for a rude awakening. On one hand, you just might find yourselves in Malaria infested parts of Africa as part of UN peace keeping and nation building activities. On the home front, you just might find yourselves being called in to maintain law and order any time there is a "disturbance" like a protest that the Obamamesiah determines is not in his or his administration’s best interest. Again, Woodrow Wilson’s goon squads come to mind. It will be real interesting to see hippies who couldn’t get a slot in a program building Tony Rezko style public housing projects being ordered to beat the shit out of protesting hippies, and if you refuse to beat the hippie, you will be the hippie facing the firing squad. After all, mutiny is mutiny, and mutiny is punishable by death. The "goon squad" will be forced to turn against their friends and brethren in ideology. Remember in the Civil War that it was brother against brother? Hmmm…

That’s the domestic end of it. How about the other side of the coin? What’s going to be real interesting too, is going to be seeing how the patchouli scented unwashed Phish followers, Vagina Monologuers and Deadheads now in the international peace keeping/ nation building forces are going to deal with boot camp. Let me tell you, it’s no fun. I’ve been there. Air Force Basic is considered to be a little less demanding than the other branches of the service, but when I went through back in 1977, it was still very rough. It was much rougher in the years before that. Of course when I went through it, everyone there was there because they were volunteers. Boot Camp is going to be a lot harder when they are training recalcitrant individuals who don’t want to be there in the first place. Let’s face it, you couldn’t get into the Peace Corps, so now you are in the Marine Corps and you are pissed.

What our training instructor told us in Basic was that when you have an all volunteer force, punishment pushups, digging holes with teaspoons, cleaning toilets with toothbrushes, and being set back in training, or even the threat of being set back in training, is usually enough to keep people in line. When you don’t have an all-volunteer force, you sometimes have to resort to physical coercion techniques in order to force compliance to orders and directives when individuals who are there against their will, are not cooperative. I would love to be a fly on the wall when some spoiled anti-military elite, who is stuck doing military service because he just didn’t have the right connections, finds himself being backhanded across the face or slammed against a wall, because he forgot that the first word out of his mouth is "Sir." Another famous boot camp disciplinary tactic is the punish the entire unit when one person screws up. Sometimes they will punish everyone except for the one that messed up. This usually leads to a late night blanket party. One way of doing group punishment is to herd everyone into the shower area and then turn the water on hot and dump a few gallons of ammonia and bleach in there mixed together, and then close the door. The fumes become unbearable after about a minute, and within another minute, everyone is vomiting all over the place. All that mess will now have to be cleaned up afterward too. They will be bringing back what is called, "Motivation," which is a unit where the worst of the uncooperative are sent. If you are sent down to Motivation, you will wish you were condemned to the lowest circle of Hell for all eternity instead of being there.

Ah, the revenge. Just think hippies, you are also going to find yourself living the elites dream of collectivism taken to its fullest extreme. You will find yourselves with shaven heads so you all look the same, in uniform so you all look the same, marching every where you go so you move as a unit rather than as an individual, and you will be subject to mandatory drug testing. You will also be forced to bend to the will of the military elites, not the academic or legal elites that you identify with, who in this situation are the NCOs and officers who are higher up the food chain that you are. You are actually going to get a taste of your own medicine. Gee, that’s going to suck. You are no longer important. You are a nothing. You are no longer special. You are nothing but a worthless piece of shit that hasn’t earned the right to even call yourself a human being. You are actually going to have to do what you are told to do and not question it. Don’t you just love authority especially when you have a problem with authority? I can’t wait to see it happen to the spoiled little adult children who have been brainwashed into the ideology of social justice. Mommy won’t be able to hire a lawyer for you either. You won’t be able to sue the big bad grumpy sergeant, because he kicked you in the ass or pushed you down a flight of stairs. They own you. You’ll just have to put up and shut up just like you want the rest of us to do. Oh and by the way, if you continue to be a real problem child or decide to just up and leave because you don’t like being there, there is always the Uniform Code of Military Justice, a court martial, and a place called Leavenworth.

The very people that venomously screeched about Dick Cheney being able to get a student deferment during Viet Nam, and George Bush supposedly using family connections to get into the Air National Guard are going to find themselves doing military service against their will. Will they be screaming about their fellow liberal brethren getting preferential treatment allowing them to serve in the non-military services? That’s what I call social justice. As the Obama supporters say, "It’s a new beginning."

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 Election

This coming Tuesday, Americans will go to the polls and vote for the next President of the United States. The choices we have are Barak Obama and John McCain. For the record, I’m not crazy about either one of them, but I’m planning on voting for McCain. I consider him to be the lesser of the evils. One of them is pure socialism and the other one is socialism lite. I would love to see less socialism in this country, but ever since the New Deal, we are kind of stuck with some degree of socialism. I just want it to have the smallest footprint possible.

I think that John McCain is going to have a hard time getting elected, but as of today, it’s still a possibility. People are ready for change, and the Republicans have not done a good job running this country for the past eight years. A lot of this has to do with the man in the White House.

I personally believe that George Bush is not an evil person, and the for the past 8 years, his heart has been in the right place. That being said, he has not been a very effective president. The only thing I can say positive about his presidency has been the fact that we have not had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11. I am not going to discount this, because with the world as it is today, this is a very significant accomplishment. For this I will thank President Bush. There have been many attempts here in this country; most of which are not reported in the press, but so far none of them have succeeded. This is very significant since there have been over 27,000 terrorist attacks of one form or another since 9/11 throughout the world. In case you haven’t noticed, the media hasn’t been too forthcoming about reporting that news either.

Here’s my opinion on why the American people are willing to gamble on an unknown with terrorist, Marxists, and corrupt associates and cronies to be our next president. First of all, the Republican Party leadership along with President Bush have shown the American people that they have absolutely no backbone when it comes to dealing with the Democrats. This has made a large percentage of us Republicans very angry with our party leadership. While I’m not about to jump ship and vote for Obama in order to send a message like some Republicans are going to do, I’m completely disgusted with the leadership of George W. Bush and the Republican leaders in the House and Senate. Because of their collective cowardice and guilt when it comes to standing up to a political party that wants to establish a Socialist government ruled over by the intellectual classes, we will now be looking at the end of America as we know it. This is very sad.

Along with this, Bush and the Republicans have not listened to and have been obtuse as far as listening to the mainstream Americans when it comes to issues such as illegal immigration. Why did we not seal our borders after 9/11 and then start rounding up and deporting as many illegal aliens as we could find? Yes I know the typical Left wing oral diarrhea; "Businesses need cheap labor." Hey Lefties, how about "rich liberals need cheap nannies and gardeners." Oh, don’t forget the illegals voting for Democrats illegally along with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and all those "residents" of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery who will be voting for Obama. Since nothing is being done about it, I guess the Republican leadership is either in the tank with the Democrats, or else they don’t have any balls. I think it’s a little bit of both.

The Republican leadership, including George Bush, have also chosen spending on entitlement programs like Medicare as a measure of success. We are spending way too much money on domestic social programs, and since the 1960s, they haven't succeeded. All they have done is cost a lot of money. These programs continue to be failures and are going to bankrupt us if we don’t start reining them in…the never ending without an "exit strategy" War On Poverty, the Social Security crisis, Medicare, and The No Child Left Behind Act come to mind. You don't keep throwing money at a broken system. You fix the system and then fund it to the point where it works. You don't let it become a financial bottomless pit with no tangible results. Social progams don't work when the only ones that benefit from the progams are the people managing the progams.

Here are other issues: When are we going to finally have an energy policy that will take us into the future? Ethanol is a government grant funded boondoggle for corn farmers and wind and solar will never supply us with all the electricity that we will need. Every time an energy bill came out of the House between 2002 and 2005, when Republicans controlled the House, Northeastern "moderate" Republican Senators saw to it that the energy bills were killed. Why? Along with that, President Bush complained, but never demanded that he be presented with a sound comprehensive energy bill that he could sign into law. I guess there is just too much money to be made in government subsidized "green" investments for rich liberals...and George Bush is nothing but a rich liberal who happens to side with the Religious Right on social issues in order to garner their vote. The rest of us say, "drill, drill, drill..." If we can provide more of our oil ourselves, build a dozen or so more refineries, and through tax incentives to the auto manufactures, "encourage" them to produce vehicles that are more fuel efficient, we can drive through lesser demand, oil prices through the floor. This will through the free market collapse the economies of our enemies like Russia and Venezuela. This will also provide less funding for terrorism coming out of the Muslim countries in the Middle East. Nothing would make my day better than that.

Now let’s look at the other part of the equation…The American people are so softened down at this point thanks to our failed public education system and our guilt ridden embrase of diversity and multi-culturalism, that they are ready and willing to accept the big wet "Depends" of Socialism as the new American way of life. On one side of the coin we have become a nation of lazy underachieving spoiled brats who want everything handed to us on a silver platter. This dumbing down of our nation has been deliberate, and it was slowly put into place over the past 100 years in order to bring to fruition the goals of the Fabian Socialists, the ultimate in self-righteous intellectual Narcissists. They set in motion the plan for a one world socialist government with a class of highly educated elites ruling over the rest of us while the rest of us were brainwashed over the years to be subservient to them. Now let's look at the other side of the coin. Have you ever wondered why there are so many members of the upper middle class who embrace Socialism? It’s because they know that under Socialism they will be the ones that will control the rest of us "for the common good." For them it’s beyond having things handed to them on a silver platter. It’s about power being handed to them on a silver platter. It's about arrogant elitism. They claim that they are "concerned" about the poor and all the other victim groups. Bullshit! Nothing could be further from the truth. Upper middle class liberal elites have nothing but contempt for the less educated who actually get their hands dirty when they work. They feel that these "lesser people" are too stupid to manage their own affairs. How do I know? I work with many of those liberal elites, and they have said so in their own words. They really believe that the "little people" need the "big people" to make their decisions for them for the "common good." We are just too stupid to manage our own affairs. We need to be controlled. The liberal elites are willing to pay a small amount more in their taxes for that privilege.

The international socialists now have all the pieces of the puzzle in place. They have been putting this into place since the 1890s. They are about the close the deal with the election of Barak Obama, the liberal elites facilitator to establish the dictatorship of the ruling intellectual classes.

President Bush and the Republican Leadership, you have no one to blame but yourselves for the possibility of the end of the American way of life. This Tuesday will be an American milestone. Alexander Tyler, the famous Scottish historian stated in the 1700s: All societies go though the following progression, and have since the establishment of formal governments. First there is bondage, then there is enlightenment. This is followed by courage, which is followed by liberty. Following that there is prosperity followed by complacency. After that you have apathy which leads back into bondage. Think about that this Tuesday when you go to the polls. Are we so cynical and apathetic that we are ready to vote ourselves into the possibility of Marxist bondage? The stained glass door to the Fabian Society in London, England shows the earth on an anvil being struck by hammers. Above that in a smaller panel is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Think about it.
