I've decided to keep most of the blog posts short so that I can post more often. With that in mind, here goes.....
I find it hard to belive what is going on energywise in this country, unless it's being done deliberately. I think it is. It's a collusion between the Democrats and their masters...George Soros, hedge fund managers, billionaire socialists, communist environmental groups, and every other anti-American group on the planet. The idea is the get $10 a gallon gasoline before the November election, so that we will end up with a Marxist in the White House. The plan is to "transition" us to the UN's gameplan for a One World Government. America must be destroyed in order for this to take place. The Democrats are in on it, because they are now under the control of a cabal of Marxist elites. Their elite socialist minions have promised them a place at the table when they rule the world. It's right out of Karl Marx's playbook. It's called the "proletariatizing" of the middle class. This is why they have prevented us from becoming energy independent. They claim that we need to be, but then they do everything in their power to prevent it. Then they work to force us to subsidizing their "pet" industries on the greenie side of the coin. These groups then funnel lots of money back to them so that they will continue to keep us from becoming energy independent.
The problem is, the Republicans don't have the balls to stand up to them...starting with George Bush. I firmly believe that you wouldn't have all this Bush hatred from the Left if George Bush had the spine to stand up to his opponents and systematically take them down. The spoiled adult children of the left, the cowardly Marxists that they are, would go sulk in their respective corners for a little "time out."
Also, because the Republicans lost their balls and became too comfortable, we have very little choices for president this November. Here are our choices: We have an elitest Marxist named Obama, a power hungry Marxist named Clinton, and a liberal semi-socialist named McCain, who in my opinion is only marginally acceptable. With this in mind, however, I'm going to vote for McCain, because I think that he can cause the least amount of damage. He's not perfect, but at least he's not a Marxist.
Let's look at where things are heading. You have this bullshit about global warming coupled with an ethanol movement that has reduced the world's food supply and caused us to burn more fuel, because of it's inefficiency. This compounds the problem as it spirals out of control. The Democrats know this, and they are keeping it going, because all they care about is getting one of their beloved Communists in the White House this November and funneling more grants and favors to the "green" industries that then funnel money back to the Democrats. It's time for the American people to wake up. It's also time for the Republican party to stop caving in, grow some balls, and call them on it...big time! President Bush, I'm not hearing you......

Where Are The Good Candidates?
I’ve been following the primary season very closely, and to be honest, I’m disgusted. What has happened in this country when neither political party can field a candidate that would make a good president? There is a lot at stake in this election, and the American people better wake up fast. If not, this representative republic that has been the greatest nation in the world is going to fall by the wayside.
There are arguments on both sides of the equation about whether or not any candidate is ideologically pure enough to secure the vote of the hard liners of either political party. That’s a fair argument. For me, I’m not so ideologically pure. I tend to look at all the candidates and then vote for what I consider to be the best compromise. So far, however, I can’t seem to find any candidate that would be an acceptable compromise for me.
Let’s start on the left: Hillary Clinton is the Junior Senator from New York. She has no executive experience. She is an arrogant Marxist Elite. That right there eliminates her from any consideration on my part. If the Democrats were so determined to run a woman for president, why not run one of the three eligible sitting Democrat female governors; Kathleen Sebelius, Christine Gregorie, or Janet Napolitano? While I’m not crazy about their politics, they do have executive experience, because they are the chief executives of their respective states. Now let’s look at Barack Obama. Again, no executive experience. He’s the Junior Senator from Illinois coming out of the Chicago political machine. He’s dynamic, charismatic, and a breath of fresh air. So what? He’s also more liberal than Hillary, and his ideas on foreign policy are a joke that will get us all killed. The fact that he’s black shows that yes we have made tremendous advances in Civil Rights. The only one of the Democrats that had the right experience was Governor Bill Richardson. He dropped out of the race after New Hampshire.
Now let’s go to the right: What do the Republicans have? Nobody! You’ve got Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas. He’s a Baptist Minister and another Compassionate Conservative kook. Loser. Next you have Mitt Romney, former Governor of Massachusetts, and a self-made businessman. Those are pluses. He’s a Mormon, and that is going to hurt him if he secures the party’s nomination. Evangelicals won’t vote for a Mormon. It’s sad that there is still religious prejudice here in this country. Romney, in my opinion is the best-qualified candidate, but there is still something about him that I don’t like. I can’t put my finger on it, but I’ve got reservations. Rudy Gulliani is the former Mayor of New York City. That is an executive position. His leadership after the attacks on 9/11 was stellar. However, he’s got a lot of personal baggage, and that’s going to hurt him. He’s also almost as liberal as Hillary on a lot of social issues. Also, his stand on amnesty for illegal aliens and his objection to using harsh interrogation techniques against the enemy combatants that are trying to turn this country, and ultimately our world, into an Islamic Caliphate don’t sit well with me. Then there is Fred Thompson, the only candidate with any spine, and the only true conservative in the bunch. I don’t think he’s got a chance. He is my first choice, however. Then there is Ron Paul. Need I say more?

All the pieces are in place for the deconstruction of the United States of America, leading us to a one world government under the UN. I am not pleased.

Our Health Care "Crisis" And How To Fix It
There are many people in this country that think that our health care system is in a crisis. It’s not, but it could be in the not so distant future. It’s not because there are supposedly 40 million Americans who don’t have health insurance. I don’t believe that for a minute when you take into account the upwards of 20 million illegal aliens that use our emergency rooms for primary care, and then not pay their bills. Yes, at that point, we get stuck with the bills as the honest law abiding taxpayer. There are also studies that show that most of those supposedly 40 million are only uninsured for a brief period of time. That’s the reason why health insurance needs to be portable. Let the employer pay the employee the money that they spend on a person’s health care package and let the individual shop around for the best deal they can. Let the individual own the policy rather than the company. In this article I’m going to offer two proposals. The first one is how to fix the health care industry using market-based solutions. The second one is a sarcastic take on a national health care plan that would keep rich liberals who want to cut the line by paying cash, from creating and using a bureaucratic two tier health care system to their advantage. Why should they get access to quality care, when they want to force the masses into sub-standard Hillary Care socialized medicine?
Before we get there, however, let’s keep in mind that the health care problems in this country can not be fixed overnight. It’s going to take time, because it has taken a lot of time to get where it is now. If you take a good hard look at the system, it’s expensive, but it’s not broken. We have the best health care system in the world, bar none. I know liberals will argue that point claiming that Europe has better health care, just because it’s free. Liberals, after all, don’t want to have to be responsible for anything. They just want every thing provided to them, while they play and have a good time pursuing whatever pleasure strikes them at the time. For this reason, what they want is a system of socialized medicine. That way they won’t have to be responsible for their own health care. That’s only part of the equation. When you get past the usual liberal smoke and mirrors, the real reason that they want socialized medicine is so that it can be used as a tool to "cull the herd" so to speak. It’s one more means that they can use to force people into certain behaviors and thought processes, or be eliminated from this earth. They can use socialized medicine as a tool to get rid of undesirables who disagree with the Left Establishment’s group think mentality. Communism is Communism even when it’s called Progressivism. When you look at the end result of socialized medicine, you get rationed health care, which means that people are denied life saving procedures, and ultimately, government enforced Euthanasia for the elderly and those considered to be mentally ill. One of the definitions of mentally ill will be anyone who disagrees with the Left’s ideology or positions, and/or speaks out against them.
Now here’s the first solution. As I said, make health insurance portable. You own it, not your employer. It’s yours and you take it with you when you change jobs. You also deregulate the insurance industry so that individuals say in Kansas, can shop around and purchase health insurance in Wyoming if they can find a policy with the coverage they want cheaper there. Force the insurance companies to compete for your business, and the price of insurance will drop. Also, let people purchase the coverage that they need. There is no need for men to have to pay for coverage for mammograms and women to pay for coverage for prostate exams. They don’t need them.
At the same time, we need to rein in the trial lawyers that bring frivolous malpractice lawsuits causing many doctors to get out of the business, and ultimately costing the consumer much more than necessary. There need to be caps on the amount of damages awarded to individuals for so called, "pain and suffering," with most of the award ultimately going to the attorney after legal expenses anyway. Things used to be different. I remember when I was a kid, the doctor would come to the house, and my dad would write the doctor a check for his services. If we went to the office, it was the same thing, but less money. I believe a house call was $15 and an office visit was $10. All routine lab work was done at the doctor’s office, not sent out to a lab, unless it was some sort of specialized test. Plus, there was no need to perform gazillion tests in order to cover the doctor’s ass from a frivolous lawsuit brought by a lawyer like John Edwards. Times have really changed haven’t they? If you really look at it, the price of health care in this country didn’t get all that expensive until people started having health insurance. The problem is not the supposed 40 million people without health insurance, it’s the 260 million that HAVE health insurance. Hey, someone else is now paying for it, who cares about the cost…
Now let’s look at the other solution. If Hillary becomes president, we are in for a world of hurt as far as health care is concerned. What will happen will be a two tiered system like they have in Britain and Canada. You will have the typical Left Wing Marxists who will "insist" on a fair health care system for all, except for them of course. A perfect example is Barbara Castle, a Member Of Parliament in Great Britain, who said, "No one should be able to acquire better health care with a checkbook," yet when her son needed surgery, she admitted him to an expensive PRIVATE hospital under an assumed name. She wasn’t about to use the public health care system that she so vehemently supported for "everyone else." Like most liberals, she is just too freekin’ important.
Here’s my plan for Socialist medicine. We have to make sure that the system is fair and equitable for the "common good." We start by putting the entire health care system under the control of the federal government. No private sector health care will be allowed period. This is to make sure that rich liberals will have to stand in line for their rationed health care just like everyone else. If our politicians and rich liberals have to stand in line, you better believe that the lines will get shorter and shorter all the time.
In order to ensure that there is an adequate supply of health care professionals, you start by nationalizing the medical school system. If you are good enough to get into medical school, the government will provide the training. That way you can accept a reasonable salary upon graduation, that will increase with longevity. All health care workers will be part of the MPH force and will hold the ranks of officers in the Merchant Marines, just like MPH doctors and nurses currently do. A doctor holding the rank of O-3 has a base salary of about $40,000 per year, and that increases with longevity and with promotions. They would also receive variable housing allowances with the amount determined by the cost of housing in their area. In addition, they will also be exempt from any and all malpractice lawsuits. I know the insurance industry and the trial lawyers won’t be happy with this arrangement, but come on now folks, we all have to make sacrifices for the "common good," as Comrade Hillary says.
Now comes the fun part. Liberals are going to hate this, but like I said, it’s for the common good. Get with the program. You are no more important than the rest of us, despite what you think. Free health care is going to be expensive. It’s going to require tax increases in order to pay for it. Therefore, we need to make sure that people lead a healthy lifestyle in order to minimize their use of the system. Healthy people require less medical care than sick people. Many chronic conditions are simply a result of personal lifestyles. Those lifestyles will have to change. Let’s start with substance abuse problems. The health problems of those addicted to hard drugs are well documented, and even benign drugs like marijuana contribute to lung problems over time. Therefore, in order to make sure that people don’t use drugs, every person in this country will be subject to random drug testing. If you test positive the first time, you will be forced into rehab. If you fail a second time, you go to prison, no exceptions. It’s for the common good and it will save the taxpayers money.
The problems associated with alcohol ranging from domestic violence to drunk driving are also well documented. Therefore, every alcohol purchase will need to be accompanied by a Social Security number whether in a bar, restaurant, or liquor store, so that the government can track your alcohol purchases. Once you exceed a certain amount of booze in the course of a month, the government can step in and evaluate you for alcoholism. If you are determined to have a drinking problem, you will be involuntarily enrolled in an inpatient rehab program and be required to abstain from alcohol for a minimum of one year upon leaving the facility. If you relapse, determined by random testing for alcohol in your system, you will be thrown in prison. Yes I know this will force a lot of bars and restaurants out of business, but don’t you think that this will be for the common good? We will need to do the same with cigarette purchases. Every tobacco purchase will need to be accompanied by a Social Security number, so that the government can track tobacco purchases, and deny health coverage for tobacco related diseases in smokers. I'm sure the government will approve of this measure, since their goal is to eliminate smoking, by their own admission. Look at all the smoking bans that are in place in bars and restaurants. The question is, can the government live without the tax revenue that it gets from the sale of tobacco products? I think not.
How about heart problems associated with diet? Let’s do the same thing with red meat. You will only be allowed a certain amount of red meat each month, and your meat purchases will also have to be accompanied by a Social Security number. Once you reach your government-determined amount, you will not be able to make the purchase. The store’s computer, which will be tied into a huge government database like the store’s computers in liquor stores, bars, restaurants and 7-11s, will deny you the "privilege" of purchasing those burgers. If you are having an outdoor barbecue and plan on purchasing steaks or ribs for your guests, you will have to apply for a permit and submit everyone on the guest list’s Social Security number. A Social Security number, with extra attention devoted to fast food establishments will also accompany all purchases at all eating establishments. Isn’t this fun? We are going to make you healthy for your own, and the "common good." What’s the matter? You don’t like this invasion of privacy? Come on Liberals, how else do you think that we can make things fair for everyone and keep costs down? Aren’t you willing to do your fair share? Ah, that’s right. There is no provision for you phonies to bypass the system. Too freekin’ bad.
Next how do we get people to exercise? Let’s see, you make it mandatory. Let employers get a tax deduction for providing health clubs on their premises, or for small businesses, they get a tax break for providing health club memberships—same with the self-employed. Better yet, let’s nationalize the health club industry and make attendance at a gym or some other exercise program for certain number of hours per week, mandatory. Hey, if we are going to nationalize the health care industry, let’s go all the way and nationalize the health club industry too. If you fail to work out a certain number of hours per week without a doctor’s consent, you can do you exercise time in the yard at the "Big House."
There you have it. My proposals to fix the health care problems in this country. Which do you prefer? With the second proposal, I have created the worst case scenario for fixing our health care system with the ultimate in socialized medicine. If you think about it, it’s the only way that socialized medicine would really work. For me, I’m more interested in using the free market to bring down the cost of health care, rather than create the Orwellian nightmare that Hillary Care would be, as the first step in Totalitarian control over our lives. I have a father that is 90 years old with Alzheimer’s. I don’t think that he should be euthanized, which would be a distinct possibility under a national health care system managed by a Far Left Wing Totalitarian government. This is the type of government that the Left wants to force onto the American people for their, and their alone, benefit. I don’t want a system that allows rich liberals to adopt the old, "do as I say, not as I do" mantra, while they continue to deconstruct systematically this country of ours…the greatest republic in the history of the world. My dad is a World War II veteran who fought for the freedoms that we take for granted today. He deserves something much better than the Communism of Hillary Care.

If you are having an outdoor barbecue and plan on purchasing steaks or ribs for your guests, you will have to apply for a permit and submit everyone on the guest list’s Social Security number. A Social Security number, with extra attention devoted to fast food establishments will also accompany all purchases at all eating establishments. Isn’t this fun? With the second proposal, I have created the worst case scenario for fixing our health care system with the ultimate in socialized medicine. If you think about it, it’s the only way that socialized medicine would really work. For me, I’m more interested in using the free market to bring down the cost of health care, rather than create the Orwellian nightmare that Hillary Care would be, as the first step in Totalitarian control over our lives. I have a father that is 90 years old with Alzheimer’s. I don’t think that he should be euthanized, which would be a distinct possibility under a national health care system managed by a Far Left Wing Totalitarian government. Where Are We Headed?
This is a question I have been pondering for the past several weeks. Something tells me that things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get better. However, if the American people continue down the path of "What's in it for me?" we are headed down a very slippery slope toward a totalitarian Socialist government. Once that is in place, it may be decades before we are able to undo its damage. Look how long it has taken Western Europe to finally wake up to the failure of the nanny state. There is no such thing as free. Someone has to pay for it.
I'm afraid that it now could be America's turn. The elites that have been working behind the scenes for over 70 years to put this dicatorship in place could very well reap what they have sown depending on the outcome of the 2008 election. Currently, there are several issues that are driving this. I'm going to comment on a couple of them: The "war" in Iraq, health care, our education system, environmental issues, and welfare and other entitlement programs.
First let's talk about the war. The Bush Administration, and as the late Colonel David Hackworth said, "The perfumed princes" that make up the current military leadership in the Pentagon, have not handled this war effectively. Yes, there have been successes. We removed the Taliban from power in Afghanistan and removed Saddam from power, which were the goals, and the current surge is working thanks to the competence of General David Petreus. Even many of the Democrats have had to admit this. Also, bringing freedom to the dictatorships in the Middle East is a noble cause, especially since that region of the world is so important to the world's economy because of their oil....Yes, it's all about oil, but not for the anti-big business reasons of the Marxist Left. First of all, you don't go to war with one hand tied behind your back. Up until now, our troops have been fettered with rules of engagement that has lead to many of them getting killed for no reason. This is because there is a cadre of spineless, PC lawyers in the Pentagon who crafted those rules of engagement. We have the best and most powerful military in the world. We should have let them take the gloves off from the very beginning. The entire Middle Eastern region would be a lot more stable today than it is now if we had gone in there with no holds barred. Think about how those types of rules of engagement would have effected the outcome of World War II, if those spineless bastard military lawyers had been running the show. The other screw up is this: we jumped the gun in letting the Iraqis take control of their own government. Here's a nation that has been under the iron fist of totalitarian dictatorial control for over 30 years. They weren't ready to assume control. We needed to set up a provisional government with a military governor just like we did in Japan after World War II. Saddam and his henchmen should have been tried and executed by the US, Britain, and Australian authorities just like the allies did who conducted the war crimes tribunals in Nurnberg following the second world war. We also didn't plan for the terrorist violence that has followed after we ceased major combat operations. While the results of the surge are promising, it's still an ugly and cautious promise. However, we should have started this surge as soon as the violence escallated after we ceased major combat operations. Imagine how fast we would have gotten control of the hot spots over in Iraq if General Patton had been in charge.
The Left needs to wake up, face reality, and stop denying what both the Left and the Right has been saying for the past 30 years. That includes Bill and Hillary Clinton too, folks. Saddam was a real threat to world security, especially to the security of the Middle East. A Saddam with a nuclear weapon would have been able to hold the world hostage to the Middle Eastern oil supply that fuels the world's economy. That was Saddam's not so secret goal. Since 90% of Middle Easter oil goes to Europe, it's understandable that the appeasement monkeys in Western Europe didn't, or wouldn't get involved in removing Saddam. Not only that, they were supplying Saddam with much more in the way of weapons than we were, and were his accomplices in the UN Oil For Food scandal. What you have here between Western Europe and the American Left are a bunch of sanctimonious assholes that are too busy covering their corrupt behinds while they are working to use Islamofascism as a tool to take down the United States Government. It's the Left's ultimate rise to power, and it's Europe's leveling of the financial playing field for their benefit. At the same time, you have a shift in Europe away from the Nanny State that has plagued them for 60 years.
Bush needs to stop talking about religion of peace and all that other bullshit. He needs to announce to the world that if the US is attacked again, we will immediately retaliate by eliminating with nuclear weapons the 100 largest Islamic cities in the world. We will also wipe off the face of the earth the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina. Along the same line, we will also take down North Korea, which has threatened us with a nuclear attack as well as Cuba and Venezuela, all of whom have alligned themselves with the Islamic terrorist governments that are our sworn enemies. Most important of all, Bush needs to start communicating with the American people, and to start standing up to his enemies in this country. He needs to start exposing the Marxists that make up the leadership of the Democratic party for what they are, and let the public know what they will be facing if Comrade Hillary Rodham "Soros" Clinton becomes president. Let's compare health insurance to car insurance. Your car insurance covers you in the event of some sort of catastrophic accident that could cost you big money. You can also purchase extended warranty coverage to pay for major mechanical problems that could cause severe financial consequences. Neither plan will cover routine maintainance like oil changes, brakes or tuneups. What do you do when you decide to get your car serviced? You shop around and find a quality mechanic that you can afford and trust. It should be the same with doctors. I remember back when I was a kid, my father had to go into the hospital for some surgery. His health care plan from his employer covered his hospitalization and the surgery. However, the health care plan that he had, and most people had at the time, didn't cover basic medical services like doctors visits or prescription drugs. When we went to the doctor, or believe it or not, the doctor came out to the house, my parents wrote a check to pay for the services. Once medical insurance that covered everything became the norm, the cost of health care in this country started to skyrocket. Then you had the slimy bastards commony referred to as lawyers getting involved suing doctors, drug companies, and insurance companies for everything they had whether or not the claim was baseless or not. Rather than go through the expense of defending themselves in court, most cases settle whether there is a real case or not. It's easier and less costly to just pay up and shut up. There is nothing like the highest level of extortion, and those extortionists are the lowest scum of the earth...trial lawyers. Thank greedy insurance companies and greedy lawyers for the cost of your health care. Hillarycare will make it even more expensive even though it will be free. Under her plan, everyone will be required to purchase health insurance. The insurance companies are jumping with joy. They will immediately see a 20% to 30% increase in profits just from people being forced to purchase insurance. After that, they will be able to raise their rates to astronomical levels, because they will have a government sanctioned monopoly. At that point, only the rich will be able to afford private health insurance and have access to private hospitals. Everyone else ranging from the poor to the upper middle class, will be forced onto government subsidized insurance plans and use some form of public health system. Health care will become scarce resulting in government rationing, unless you are rich enough to afford private medical services. The ultimate end result could be mandatory Euthanasia for the elderly, mental patients, and those with terminal illnesses. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it

That means green on the outside and red on the inside, with red meaning Communist. They have learned their lessons well taking them right out of the playbook of the Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci. Hmmmm.....Ok, how much electricity do you use by keeping that huge home comfortable in the summer. It seems that you've got the thermostat set on 70 when it's 93 degrees outside. My poor AC unit has a hard time keeping the house under 80. You must be using some serious electricity in order to keep that McMansion that cool in the summer. I'm sure that your oil or gas bill in the winter is astronomical too. What, you offset your energy use by investing in the "green" industry, and by purchasing carbon credits? Well, if putting money into planting trees in Senegal makes you feel better about your gas guzzling lifestyle, while you critisize gas guzzling SUVs more power to you. However, here's some advice from an average non-guilt ridden, non-educated, non-elite...Screw You! I am going to continue to drive my gas guzzling Dodge Ram 1500 van that gets 14 mpg on an average, and I am going to continue to throw plastic bags in the trash, because I've done research and found out that the cost of recycling plastic bags costs more in the long run environmentally than just putting them in a landfill. I know that that's irrelevant, since the holy sacrament of recycling is so sacrosanct to helping eliminate your feelings of guilt for the lifestyle that you have chosen. You are not planning on really doing any sacrificing in regards to your lifestyle. Sacrifice is for everyone else. You can afford to NOT sacrifice. We little people that you have so much goddam compassion and concern for will be the ones that will have to go without AC in the summer, and barely be able to heat our homes in the winter, or afford gasoline to run our work related vans and pickup trucks, due to your "compassion and concern" for Mother Earth. Put your money where you mouth is. Since you are avid Socialists anyway, how about selling your big homes and moving into the cities where you work and commute to every day? Think of the wonderful cultural experience you will have when you are living next to a crack house and have winos pissing in their pants while they are passed out on your front porch. If you want social services programs to work, you've got to instill in the recipients an ethic of responsibility and they have to accept that if they are going to take the government's money, there are going to be conditions attached to it. Welfare money should be used for food, clothing, shelter, and whatever products are needed to run a clean and safe household. That money should not be used for tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs. The way that you enforce this is by requiring anyone collecting social services money be subject to random urine tests for nicotine, alcohol residue, or illegal drugs. If someone tests positive, you monitor them with weekly tests and enter them into mandatory treatment programs. If they continue to test positive, you throw them in jail for misuse of government funds. Now I know what you are saying. "Cigarettes and beer are legal." Yes, they are, but when the tax payers are paying your freight, you are not to spend that money on anything but necessities. Many people in the underclasses have a substance abuse problem anyway. That's why they are stuck in the underclass. You have to take away the incentive to be lazy. You have to instill a work ethic too.

My poor AC unit has a hard time keeping the house under 80. You must be using some serious electricity in order to keep that McMansion that cool in the summer. I'm sure that your oil or gas bill in the winter is astronomical too. What, you offset your energy use by investing in the "green" industry, and by purchasing carbon credits? Well, if putting money into planting trees in Senegal makes you feel better about your gas guzzling lifestyle, while you critisize gas guzzling SUVs more power to you. However, here's some advice from an average non-guilt ridden, non-educated, non-elite...Screw You! I am going to continue to drive my gas guzzling Dodge Ram 1500 van that gets 14 mpg on an average, and I am going to continue to throw plastic bags in the trash, because I've done research and found out that the cost of recycling plastic bags costs more in the long run environmentally than just putting them in a landfill. I know that that's irrelevant, since the holy sacrament of recycling is so sacrosanct to helping eliminate your feelings of guilt for the lifestyle that you have chosen. You are not planning on really doing any sacrificing in regards to your lifestyle. Sacrifice is for everyone else. You can afford to NOT sacrifice. We little people that you have so much goddam compassion and concern for will be the ones that will have to go without AC in the summer, and barely be able to heat our homes in the winter, or afford gasoline to run our work related vans and pickup trucks, due to your "compassion and concern" for Mother Earth. Put your money where you mouth is. Since you are avid Socialists anyway, how about selling your big homes and moving into the cities where you work and commute to every day? Think of the wonderful cultural experience you will have when you are living next to a crack house and have winos pissing in their pants while they are passed out on your front porch. Think how enlightened and highly literate your children will become when they are in the trenches of Hell that our urban public education systems have become due to your failed Liberal social policies.
Finally, let's talk about welfare and other entitlement programs. What we are doing is not working. What we are doing hasn't worked since we started welfare and entitlement progams in earnest since the 1960s. All it has done is make things worse. There is nothing wrong with helping out the poor. However, you can't just throw money at a failed system and have it work. Then all you have is a more expensive failed system. There was one thing missing from all the social services programs that came out of the War On Poverty that began in the early 1960s, and that one thing was personal responsibility. If you want social services programs to work, you've got to instill in the recipients an ethic of responsibility and they have to accept that if they are going to take the government's money, there are going to be conditions attached to it. Welfare money should be used for food, clothing, shelter, and whatever products are needed to run a clean and safe household. That money should not be used for tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs. The way that you enforce this is by requiring anyone collecting social services money be subject to random urine tests for nicotine, alcohol residue, or illegal drugs. If someone tests positive, you monitor them with weekly tests and enter them into mandatory treatment programs. If they continue to test positive, you throw them in jail for misuse of government funds. Now I know what you are saying. "Cigarettes and beer are legal." Yes, they are, but when the tax payers are paying your freight, you are not to spend that money on anything but necessities. Many people in the underclasses have a substance abuse problem anyway. That's why they are stuck in the underclass. You have to take away the incentive to be lazy. You have to instill a work ethic too.
People collecting welfare also need to be enrolled in either some sort of tech training, other formal schooling (GED or High School Diploma), or working a part time job. What? Did you say work? Yes I did. That's also one of the drawbacks of the currently run social services "industry." You are not allowed to work when you are collecting welfare. That's because when people work they get ahead. The people working in the "victim industries" only have jobs, because of victims. More victims means more jobs and/or more money for the "compassion and concern for all mankind" people that work in those industries. Let's face it. Their incentive is to keep poor people poor for their own financial security.It also makes those sanctimonious save the world types feel good about themselves. Karl Zinsmeister, a former fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, wrote an article about living among the underclass a few years back. He explained how he and his family were living on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Capitol Hill, once one of the finer neighborhoods in DC had slid into urban decay after President Johnson's fiasco called the Great Society, just like most cities slid into urban decay with the increase in welfare and other social programs that were designed to help the poor. They didn't work. All they did was make things worse. Zinsmeister explained how there were three types of people living in Capitol Hill. Those that were working downtown and needed affordable housing, those that had been there forevever and were not going to move out because of the winos and thugs, and the winos and thugs.
He had a small appartment attached to his house that he rented out to help make the mortgage payment. Many of his tenants over the years were those Liberal save the world types. Many were lawyers working for groups like the ACLU or other firms in the victims rights "industry." Zinsmeister stated in the article that just about every one of those bleeding heart tenants had a hard time coping with the underclass that made the neighborhood seedier than it needed to be. Yet these are the same people that are perpetuating that underclass by doing everything in their legal power to hamstring the police when it comes to enforcing quality of life laws. These highly educated parasites have quite an army of fellow travellers who are so blinded by their guilt and pleasure driving desire for what they call "social justice" that they are in denial to the fact that it is their beliefs and actions that are perpetuating the problem. They are hypocrites and phonies. I just laugh when I hear some Liberal go off about how it's too dangerous for a little white women to live in a dangerous neighborhood, or to have to skirt one in order to ride public transportation. Therefore, that person will continue to drive even though public transportation is available. It makes sense. The rules that Liberals want to enforce are for everyone but Liberals. Also, when they are forced to confront the results of their social justice bullshit, they immeditately start playing the victim card themselves. Let's see. Not only do you have the poor as victims of our opressive Capitalistic society and the evil George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, but you now have the do gooders as victims of the victims of the opressive Capitalistic society and the evil George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, even if they are financially well off. Some how, that argument doesn't hold water with me. It does show, however, that the inmates are running the nut house.
It's these warped value systems that are destroying this country. We are a nation of perpetual spoiled children and the more liberal the individual, the more child-like they are. It's time for America to grow up and face the music. It's time to ferret out and take down the Fifth Column that has been working since the early 1900s to destroy this country. Wake up America.

It's Time To Start Posting
It's amazing how liberals either refuse to look at the facts, or somehow choose to ignore them as insignificant when they are lauding their self-righteous opinions. For example, I got into a discussion with a gentleman the other night about the situation in Iraq. His claim was that President Bush only went into Iraq so that his cronies could make money. I guess that's the usual Liberal/Socialist argument anyway...It's always about money. I asked him if he had read the Congressional Resolution authorizing the Iraq War, and of course he hadn't. He hadn't read Hanlon and Pollock's article in the New York Times about how the surge is succeeding either. That's the problem with the Left. They have their opinions, but don't do any research into the facts. Facts are not important. The only "facts" that are important are that Bush is a liar, we are an evil imperialistic nation, Capitalism is bad/Socialism is good, etc. etc.. If this country is so freekin' bad, why the Hell don't all these liberals leave? Why don't they head to a nice Socialist "paradise" like Cuba or Venezuela? Let's take it down one notch. How about Canada or one of the fabulous economic powerhouses of Western Europe with their double digit unemployment rates and their not so peaceful Islamic populations? I'm just sick and tired of hearing people bitch and moan when they haven't done any homework into what is happening in the world. Let's look at the real reason why Liberals, and I use that term loosely, are so hateful of George Bush. Liberals today are not really Liberals. They are neo-Communists. George Bush stands in the way of their agenda for a Socialist/Marxist "utopia" with them, the educated intellectual classes ruling over the rest of us. That's what it is in a nutshell. They can't stand the fact that there are people that won't bow and scrape to their almighty self-righteousness. However, at the same time, the Republicans haven't delivered the goods either. The Left; Progressives, Liberals, or Communists as they are, may very well get their way in the 2008 election. We many end up with Comrade Hillary as our president. I hope the American people will be ready for a Socialist nanny state quasi-dictatorship. If the Republicans can't come up with a viable candidate to unite the 40% swing voters in the middle, that's exactly what we are going to get.
