This coming Tuesday, Americans will go to the polls and vote for the next President of the United States. The choices we have are Barak Obama and John McCain. For the record, I’m not crazy about either one of them, but I’m planning on voting for McCain. I consider him to be the lesser of the evils. One of them is pure socialism and the other one is socialism lite. I would love to see less socialism in this country, but ever since the New Deal, we are kind of stuck with some degree of socialism. I just want it to have the smallest footprint possible.
I think that John McCain is going to have a hard time getting elected, but as of today, it’s still a possibility. People are ready for change, and the Republicans have not done a good job running this country for the past eight years. A lot of this has to do with the man in the White House.
I personally believe that George Bush is not an evil person, and the for the past 8 years, his heart has been in the right place. That being said, he has not been a very effective president. The only thing I can say positive about his presidency has been the fact that we have not had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11. I am not going to discount this, because with the world as it is today, this is a very significant accomplishment. For this I will thank President Bush. There have been many attempts here in this country; most of which are not reported in the press, but so far none of them have succeeded. This is very significant since there have been over 27,000 terrorist attacks of one form or another since 9/11 throughout the world. In case you haven’t noticed, the media hasn’t been too forthcoming about reporting that news either.
Here’s my opinion on why the American people are willing to gamble on an unknown with terrorist, Marxists, and corrupt associates and cronies to be our next president. First of all, the Republican Party leadership along with President Bush have shown the American people that they have absolutely no backbone when it comes to dealing with the Democrats. This has made a large percentage of us Republicans very angry with our party leadership. While I’m not about to jump ship and vote for Obama in order to send a message like some Republicans are going to do, I’m completely disgusted with the leadership of George W. Bush and the Republican leaders in the House and Senate. Because of their collective cowardice and guilt when it comes to standing up to a political party that wants to establish a Socialist government ruled over by the intellectual classes, we will now be looking at the end of America as we know it. This is very sad.
Along with this, Bush and the Republicans have not listened to and have been obtuse as far as listening to the mainstream Americans when it comes to issues such as illegal immigration. Why did we not seal our borders after 9/11 and then start rounding up and deporting as many illegal aliens as we could find? Yes I know the typical Left wing oral diarrhea; "Businesses need cheap labor." Hey Lefties, how about "rich liberals need cheap nannies and gardeners." Oh, don’t forget the illegals voting for Democrats illegally along with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and all those "residents" of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery who will be voting for Obama. Since nothing is being done about it, I guess the Republican leadership is either in the tank with the Democrats, or else they don’t have any balls. I think it’s a little bit of both.
The Republican leadership, including George Bush, have also chosen spending on entitlement programs like Medicare as a measure of success. We are spending way too much money on domestic social programs, and since the 1960s, they haven't succeeded. All they have done is cost a lot of money. These programs continue to be failures and are going to bankrupt us if we don’t start reining them in…the never ending without an "exit strategy" War On Poverty, the Social Security crisis, Medicare, and The No Child Left Behind Act come to mind. You don't keep throwing money at a broken system. You fix the system and then fund it to the point where it works. You don't let it become a financial bottomless pit with no tangible results. Social progams don't work when the only ones that benefit from the progams are the people managing the progams.
Here are other issues: When are we going to finally have an energy policy that will take us into the future? Ethanol is a government grant funded boondoggle for corn farmers and wind and solar will never supply us with all the electricity that we will need. Every time an energy bill came out of the House between 2002 and 2005, when Republicans controlled the House, Northeastern "moderate" Republican Senators saw to it that the energy bills were killed. Why? Along with that, President Bush complained, but never demanded that he be presented with a sound comprehensive energy bill that he could sign into law. I guess there is just too much money to be made in government subsidized "green" investments for rich liberals...and George Bush is nothing but a rich liberal who happens to side with the Religious Right on social issues in order to garner their vote. The rest of us say, "drill, drill, drill..." If we can provide more of our oil ourselves, build a dozen or so more refineries, and through tax incentives to the auto manufactures, "encourage" them to produce vehicles that are more fuel efficient, we can drive through lesser demand, oil prices through the floor. This will through the free market collapse the economies of our enemies like Russia and Venezuela. This will also provide less funding for terrorism coming out of the Muslim countries in the Middle East. Nothing would make my day better than that.
Now let’s look at the other part of the equation…The American people are so softened down at this point thanks to our failed public education system and our guilt ridden embrase of diversity and multi-culturalism, that they are ready and willing to accept the big wet "Depends" of Socialism as the new American way of life. On one side of the coin we have become a nation of lazy underachieving spoiled brats who want everything handed to us on a silver platter. This dumbing down of our nation has been deliberate, and it was slowly put into place over the past 100 years in order to bring to fruition the goals of the Fabian Socialists, the ultimate in self-righteous intellectual Narcissists. They set in motion the plan for a one world socialist government with a class of highly educated elites ruling over the rest of us while the rest of us were brainwashed over the years to be subservient to them. Now let's look at the other side of the coin. Have you ever wondered why there are so many members of the upper middle class who embrace Socialism? It’s because they know that under Socialism they will be the ones that will control the rest of us "for the common good." For them it’s beyond having things handed to them on a silver platter. It’s about power being handed to them on a silver platter. It's about arrogant elitism. They claim that they are "concerned" about the poor and all the other victim groups. Bullshit! Nothing could be further from the truth. Upper middle class liberal elites have nothing but contempt for the less educated who actually get their hands dirty when they work. They feel that these "lesser people" are too stupid to manage their own affairs. How do I know? I work with many of those liberal elites, and they have said so in their own words. They really believe that the "little people" need the "big people" to make their decisions for them for the "common good." We are just too stupid to manage our own affairs. We need to be controlled. The liberal elites are willing to pay a small amount more in their taxes for that privilege.
The international socialists now have all the pieces of the puzzle in place. They have been putting this into place since the 1890s. They are about the close the deal with the election of Barak Obama, the liberal elites facilitator to establish the dictatorship of the ruling intellectual classes.
President Bush and the Republican Leadership, you have no one to blame but yourselves for the possibility of the end of the American way of life. This Tuesday will be an American milestone. Alexander Tyler, the famous Scottish historian stated in the 1700s: All societies go though the following progression, and have since the establishment of formal governments. First there is bondage, then there is enlightenment. This is followed by courage, which is followed by liberty. Following that there is prosperity followed by complacency. After that you have apathy which leads back into bondage. Think about that this Tuesday when you go to the polls. Are we so cynical and apathetic that we are ready to vote ourselves into the possibility of Marxist bondage? The stained glass door to the Fabian Society in London, England shows the earth on an anvil being struck by hammers. Above that in a smaller panel is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Think about it.
